Finished Theology and graduated (S.T.B.) in 1965.
Went to St. Pius X Priory in Pevely, Missouri in 1965.
Retreat Master, choir director and organist for St. Pius X Priory
Went to Brazil in 1968. Did missionary/pastoral work. Pastor of
two parishes and 14 missions in the jungle.
Back in the United States in 1970, joining my home diocese of Springfield-Cape
Girardeau.
Served at Immaculate Conception Parish in Jackson, Missouri as associate for
9 months.
Served as Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Caruthersville, Missouri with mission
in Steele for 9 years. (Until 1979).
Assigned Pastor of St. John Vianney Parish in Mountain View, Missouri and St.
Sylvester Mission in Eminence, Missouri for 4 years (primarily to care for
Msgr. Gene Deragowski who had been Pastor there and had been diagnosed with
Lou Gherig's Disease (amyotropic-lateral sclerosis). He served with me
as Associate while his disease progressed.)
Served in Campus Ministry at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau
for 11 years. (1982-1993).
Served as Pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Scott City, Missouri for 6 years (until
1999).
Presently
serving as Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Bolivar, Missouri and of St. Catherine
Mission, Humansville, Missouri since August of 1999.
