At Sacred Heart, we know how important it is to get involved and feel connected to your parish.  Becoming involved with a ministry can help you build relationships and feel connected to our parish community.   We are also called as Catholics to use our talents for the Kingdom of God and what better way to give back through ministries in his Church on earth.  Our ministries offer ways for you to participate in Works of Mercy by meeting both the spiritual and corporal (bodily) needs of our neighbors.  We welcome you to seek out and join a parish ministry.  We look forward to getting to know you better and working with you to form a strong parish community while seeking ways to build the Kingdom of God.   Feel free to contact us anytime if you have questions or would like more information.

Liturgical Ministries

Welcome! Liturgical ministry is an excellent opportunity to fulfill your baptismal call of service to one another. Through this ministry, you can utilize the talents and gifts that God has given you to the fullest extent.  Whether participation is through “behind the scenes” preparation and through a public role of service within the Mass, parishioner contributions help our liturgies to be truly life-giving celebrations.  Please prayerfully consider joining one of these ministries.  Click below for more information on different roles.

Knights of Columbus (Council #8931)

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal order of Catholic men in good standing with the Church, guided by the four core principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.  As such, the Order is dedicated to unswerving love and service to God, to loyalty to our Church and our Pope, to support of life in all of its aspects from the unborn throughout life to natural death, to support of family and community, and to patriotism and love of country. Click below for upcoming events, opportunities, and more information about the Knights of Columbus.

Sacred Heart Music Ministry

Sacred Heart Music Ministry is dedicated to spreading the Word of God through music.  It is our most important role as the ministers of music to support the singing and worship of the congregation at Masses and Sacramental Celebrations.  Together with the congregation we lift our voices in Adoration and Praise to God.  So, do you enjoy singing? Whether in the car, in the shower, or you just like to whistle a little tune, consider joining our Music ministry.    Contact Carol Divin or the Parish office for details of how to participate in the Music Ministry.  We would love to have you with us.  Read more by clicking below.

Sacred Heart Parish Council

The Parish Pastoral Council’s role is to join the pastor in “dreaming” what the parish is called to become and developing a plan to make that dream a reality. The pastoral plan will reflect what Pope Francis refers to as a “missionary option, that is, a missionary impulse capable of transforming everything, so that the Church’s customs, ways of doing things, times and schedules, language and structures can be suitably channeled for the evangelization of today’s world rather than for her self-preservation.”

Sacred Heart Parish Catholic Council of Women

All women of the parish are automatically members of the PCCW. PCCW sponsors regular events throughout the year which fosters community within the women of the parish.  The PCCW also has various ways of serving our parish through special events, serving the parish community, and creating opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship.   Call the parish office or click below for ways to be involved.
