Sacred Heart Parish is needing more volunteers to help with preparing funeral dinners for families in the parish when loved ones pass away. This is a great way to participate in the Corporal Works of Mercy of both Feeding the Hungry and Burying the Dead.

Share Your Christmas is a community outreach program that works with churches in Polk County to reach out to those who are struggling. Collectively, Share Your Christmas passes out food and clothing, as well as basic necessity items for all ages from newborn to 100+. The churches in the community have been assigned to collection various items. Our church has been designated to collect everyday necessities. Each month we work to collect different daily necessities. You can turn in your donations in the Christmas box in the foyer. Just look for St. Wenceslaus and you will find the box. Thank you for your donations.
