Faith Formation
Loving Jesus, Serving Jesus, Sharing Jesus
The Church is a family of families. Encountering the love of Christ and learning about what life in Christ looks like, often happens first in the home with the family. Therefore, accompanying the whole family on their journey of faith by offering guidance, instruction, and support for not only children, but to parents as well, is the overall purpose and mission for Faith Formation. At Sacred Heart Catholic Church we engage in a Whole Family Catechesis Model for our Faith Formation Classes.

"Who are catechists? They are people who keep the memory of God alive; they keep it alive in themselves and they are able to revive it in others."
~Pope Francis
NATIONAL EUCHARISTIC
REVIVAL 2022-2025
From Corpus Christi 2022-Pentacost Sunday 2025, the National Council of Catholic Bishops in the United States has launched a National Revival of the Eucharist.
In the midst of these roaring waves, Jesus is present, reminding us that he is more powerful than the storm. He desires to heal, renew, and unify the Church and the world.
How will he do it? By uniting us once again around the source and summit of our faith—the Holy Eucharist. The National Eucharistic Revival is the joyful, expectant, grassroots response of the entire Catholic Church in the U.S. to this divine invitation.
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them
the fire of your love. Send forth your spirit and they shall be created; and you shall renew the face of the earth. O God, who by the light of the Holy
Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit, we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in his consolation, through Christ our Lord.
